Well if you can’t guess what this blog is about from the title and the domain name then I am a little worried about you!

It is entirely as it suggests, a blog about me starting a recruitment company.

So a little about me.

I have done engineering recruitment for about 5 years, earning good money doing it. However a year and a bit ago I decided to move back to my home town and buy into friends marketing company. Unfortunately this didn’t go so well, the company folded leaving us both in debt.

Thankfully I have managed to pay off most of my debts by getting another marketing role. But I miss being my own boss, and I miss the buzz that recruitment gave me. So I have decided to go it alone.

The problems I face are pretty big to be honest. Though not in debt I had to use the last of my savings to get out of it, meaning I have no money. The job I have is not at all well paying, and obviously I have to earn a living whilst I set up.

So I shall continue to work in marketing for now, whilst saving and working to get my recruitment company off the ground.

The idea of this blog is to show you the traps I fall into, the mistakes I make and the good choices I stumble across by accident in the hope that anyone reading this can help gain some inspiration for starting their own recruitment, or otherwise, company.

anything that is not helping you achieve what you want is actually taking u away from it. Believe me. Being despirate for something makes u do things that you will not do otherwise. i would say leave ur marketing job the moment u find rself in a position to feed urself for next 6 months. and focus on ur business. Invest all ur energy into it. and u will be more happy. But be sure what u want and then go for it. ignore the suffering it is momentary but the satisfaction of doing what u want to do will be long lasting and will enable u to evolve to ur full potential
